City police have not yet commented on reports of shots being fired last night in Kankakee. Sources tell us the gun-play erupted in the 200 block of South Chicago last evening.  No one is reported hurt, but a nearby vehicle may have been struck with gunfire. We’ll have more when the information becomes available.
