Originally from Flint, Michigan, I made my way to the Bourbonnais area back in 1992 to attend Olivet Nazarene University and play college football. After pursuing my degree in Communications / Broadcasting and finishing school in 1997, the Milner Broadcasting Family gave me my first opportunity in radio as the afternoon drive news man on WVLI and for the first time I used a stage name in which you might remember me as “Dave Craig!”
After pursuing another radio opportunity, I left the airwaves between the year 2000 and 2013 and went into sales with Kozol Brothers, a company in Joliet in which I still work for currently but I was given an opportunity once again to work part time for the Milner Family in 2013 in the radio business that I love! Getting behind a microphone again makes me feel at home!
Another passion of mine is being behind the microphone at Sporting Events! I’ve currently been the Public Address Announcer for Olivet Nazarene University’s Men’s Basketball Team for the past 23 years and Football Team for the past 20 seasons and that is ever since I was a Freshman in college. But, hopefully my claim to Fame someday will be the full-time “Voice of the Chicago Bulls” as I have been the Back-up Public Address Announcer with the NBA Franchise for the past 13 seasons.
Currently you can find me on River Country 101.7 & 103.7 on your way home every weekday from 5pm – 12pm.
