This week’s fire at International Cushioning Company in Kentland, Indiana has been ruled an accident. Kentland fire saying it appears static electricity from a machine sparked the blaze that destroyed the building being used to manufacture and store bubble wrap and other packing materials. No one was hurt in the fire that broke out Tuesday night and kept fire fighters on the scene well into Wednesday. Meanwhile, Watseka fire fighters were called to the 700 block of south 2nd Street this morning for a structure fire. No details are available yet.
