Illinois State police arrested a Champaign man Wednesday after he was spotted doing 100 miles an hour Northbound on I-57 in Iroquois County. Police say the driver veered onto the left shoulder in order to pass a vehicle, then sped up and almost struck two survey workers before they lost sight of him. Police caught up with 32 year old Reginald Love of Champaign after he blew a tire north of Bourbonnais. Inside the vehicle was his two year old son. The incident was the culmination of some sort of domestic incident. Love has been charged with Reckless Driving, Reckless Conduct and Endangering the Life of a Child.No one was hurt.
