The 2nd trial for a Bourbonnais man charged in a March 2016 double homicide got underway Tuesday in Will County Court. In opening statements prosecutors said 43 year old William Krasawski used a hammer and a pipe wrench to bludgeoned the pair at a Joliet auto body shop and went on to say they found DNA from one of the victims on his cloths. Krasawski then allegedly sold his cell phone and car, bought some crack and checked into a Chicago Heights hotel where he was eventually arrested. The defense says the evidence is not clear cut and questioned why DNA was found from only one victim on Krasawski’s cloths. The trial continues today.
